Picardy Wight garlic is a softneck garlic originating from the province of Picardy in northern France. Known for its fierce flavor, great keeping, and ease of cultivation in cooler, wetter climates.

Most likely brought to Carcassonne, south of France by pilgrims, this garlic has not only an exceptionally fine and potent flavour, but it’s also the best performing fall-sown garlic in the UK. 

This garlic variety definitely packs a punch of flavour! 

Hailing from the southern Moravian town of Mikulov, these garlic bulbs are violet-coloured and sport huge cloves—roughly 6-7 per bulb. This garlic grows well in our UK climate.
